ATLANTA -
There were some wide eyes and big smiles to greet Atlanta Braves' players for the annual "Christmas in July" event at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta
Some hometown heroes from Turner Field including pitcher Tim Hudson made the rounds on Wednesday to cheer up children getting treatment at Scottish Rite.
Dan Uggla and other teammates autographed Braves caps for the kids.
This special day is all made possible thanks to a toy drive organized by the wives of Atlanta Braves players each year at Turner Field.
