Reed vowed to go all out to support the 1 percent sales tax to pay for transportation projects.
More than $7 billion could be raised over a decade and would allow for various road projects like new sidewalks and interchanges.
The measure has its share of opponents who want T-SPLOST voted down, including state Senator Vincent Fort, who questions if the program will really include small minority contractors. .
