Charlie Brown Jordan, 24, of Suwanee, was arrested on obstruction charges.
HALL COUNTY, Ga. -
A man was arrested Sunday afternoon after he punched a Army Corps of Engineers Ranger several times.
According to the Hall County Sheriff's Office, the ranger was patrolling Burton Mill Park in South Hall around 3 p.m. when he spotted a group with alcohol in a part of the part it was not allowed. He was issuing a citation when one of the men in the group attacked him.
Police say the ranger was struck multiple times before he was able to use pepper spray on the man. No word on the extent of the ranger's injuries.
Charlie Brown Jordan, 24, of Suwanee, was arrested on obstruction charges. He also faces additional federal charges.
The Army Corp of Engineers referred all inquiries into the matter to the Hall County Sheriff's Office when tried to reach for a comment.
