Heavy rain throughout the week has spilled large amounts of water at Big Creek. The level was at 6.89 feet around 10 p.m., according to the NWS. The flood stage is 7 feet. The NWS had expected water levels to rise throughout the night, but by 11 p.m. it appeared that it may not go much higher than 7 feet.
