Flexible Flyer Swing Sets recalled after reports of see saw breaks

DETAILS: Flexible Flyer Swing Sets manufactured by The Troxel Company of Moscow, Tenn.; sold at Walmart, Toys R Us, Academy, other specialty stores and online nationwide from December 2011 through May 2012. The Flexible Flyer swing sets come in 11 different models, each with a seesaw attachment along with swings, bars or a slide. The model number can be found on a sticker located underneath the center of the top bar of each swing set unit. The swing sets were manufactured in the United States.

WHY: The see saw seats can break away from the bolt fasteners during use, posing a fall hazard.

INCIDENTS: The firm received 1,232 reports of see saw seats breaking, resulting in 13 injuries to young children that included bumps, bruises and lacerations.
