Movie Tavern offers food, drinks for moviegoers

Executive Chef Roger Palacio and marketing vice president Mark Mulcahey from the Movie Tavern in Suwanee stopped by Good Day Atlanta, and spoke about the facility and its menu for movie goers. They also brought in a few of their menu items!

Porky Revenge Burger

Ingredients

5 oz. Burger Patty 1 each
Mozzarella Cheese 2 vol. oz.
Grilled Onions 1 vol. oz
Seasoned Pork 3 wt. oz.
Fresh Red Onions 3 each
Smokey Sauce 2 tablespoons
French Fries 7 wt. oz.
Ketchup 2 vol. oz.

Instructions

Cook 5 wt. oz. patty on flat top until internal temperature of patty reaches 165. Roll bun coating with phase butter and toast in bun toaster. Place 3 wt. oz. seasoned pulled pork onto flat top and grill until 165 is reached. When burger patty is fully cooked place 1 vol. oz. grilled onions on top of burger patty.

Place 3 wt. oz. seasoned pork on top of onions. Place 2 vol. oz. mozzarella cheese over onions and place into cheesemelter. Coat top and bottom burger bun from coast to coast with 1 tablespoon of smokey sauce on each bun. Place 3 rings fresh red onions on top of melted cheese. Place top bun on fresh red onions rings and put a toothpick into the burger to secure the ingredients.

On paper lined 10" black round platter, place finished burger on left side. Place hot fresh French fries on right side. Place 1 ramekin on ketchup of platter. Serve immediately.

Cranberry Pecan Chicken Salad

Ingredients

4 oz. Chicken Breast
4 oz.Spring mix
2 oz.Chopped Candied Pecans
Feta Cheese Crumbles 3 oz.
Dry Candied Cranberry 3 oz.
Raspberry Ranch Dressing 2 oz.

Instructions

In a mixing bowl combine the following ingredients: 4 oz. spring mix, 2 oz. candied pecans, 2 oz. feta cheese crumbles, 2 oz . dry candied cranberries and 2  oz. raspberry ranch dressing
Mix all ingredients until they are thoroughly combined and coated with raspberry ranch dressing.

Place the mixed salad from the mixing bowl into a salad bowl. Garnish the salad with the following ingredients in this order: 1  oz. candied pecans, 1 oz. feta cheese and 1 oz. dry cranberries.

Slice the chicken breast  into 1/8 thin slices. Lay the sliced chicken breast over the bottom of the salad along the edge of the bowl. Serve immediately.

Cranberry Pecan Chicken Pita

Ingredients

Pita Bread Halves 2 each
Chicken Breast 4 oz.
Spring mix 1/2 oz.
Candied Pecans 2 tablespoons
Feta cheese Crumbles 2 tablespoons
Dried Cranberries 2 tablespoons
Raspberry Ranch Dressing 2 oz.
French Fries  

Instructions

Place chicken breast on lightly buttered pan and place in oven at 375 degrees for 35 min. Cut Chicken into ½ " pieces.

In small bowl put the following ingredients in a mixing bowl and toss until fully coated: ½  oz. Spring Mix, 4 oz. dice chicken breast, 2 tablespoons of Candied Pecans, 2 tablespoons of Feta Cheese Crumbles, 2 tablespoons of Dried Cranberries and 1 ½  oz. Raspberry Ranch Dressing.
Warm up pita bread in oven.

Remove from oven and open pita bread pocket. Using ½ of the mixed ingredients stuff the pita. Using the other ½ of the mixed ingredients stuff the 2nd pita. Serve hot and fresh!
