Early voting begins Monday across the state. On the ballot for metro Atlanta is the controversial Regional Transportation Referendum

The proposed penny tax would go towards funding several transportation projects regionally.

Many area leaders have come out in support of the tax, but recent polls show that the public may have a different view of the tax.
