Several trees were downed during a storm Friday, July 6, 2012.
There were reports of storm damage in Bartow and Henry County late Friday.
Storms began just after dusk in the metro area. Heavy rain and hail were reported in some areas.
Henry County Fire Capt. Sabrina Puckett said they had received multiple calls regarding downed trees and power lines, including three reports of trees on homes.
According to FOX 5 Storm Team chief meteorologist Ken Cook said there were reports of strong wind and damage in Bartow County.
In Adairsville, a large pine tree fell on a mobile home around 7:30 p.m. Mitchell Wilkey said he was visiting his sister at the home when the tree fell. There were no injuries.
The Red Cross was on the scene assisting people displaced.
