BUFORD, Ga. -

A beloved Harley-Davidson motorcycle dealer is being mourned in Buford. Ralph Frazier was on his Harley when a falling tree limb struck and killed him in the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee on Thursday.

Frazier and his girlfriend were returning to their campground when a storm hit. They were getting off the highway when the accident occurred, according to Paul Christiansen, the service manager of Frazier Harley-Davidson.

"He came to a rolling stop. At that point, Mother Nature, God, came into play and pulled these trees down and I understand it was instant and he didn't suffer," said Christiansen.

Christiansen says Frazier's girlfriend suffered minor injuries. A white wreath now hangs at the family business, co-owned by Ralph Frazier, his brother and mother. It started in the 1970s elsewhere then moved to Buford in the mid-90's.

"It's an extremely tough day for this shop. We've been inundated with phone calls from…hundreds and hundreds of customers," said Christiansen.

"I don't know many people in the Harley industry that didn't know Ralph," said customer Carol Myers. "He's truly, truly going to be missed."

Frazier's teenage daughter and son stopped by the shop on Friday.

"He loves his children. He was good to them. He was good to everyone. He had the same demeanor every day," said Christiansen.

A demeanor Christiansen describes as born from the freedom of wind in your hair and miles behind you, what bikers love best.

"I understand that free spirit and wanting to go, and, as sad as it is. he died doing what he loved doing," said Myers.

Funeral plans for Frazier are pending.
