It's time now to Get Up and Go. Friday's event is all about art! Just outside the perimeter in north Fulton County is the Sandy Springs Artsapalooza Festival!
About 150 local, regional, and national artists will set up shop in the heart of Sandy Springs on Johnson Ferry Road.
Painters, photographers, sculptors, jewelers, glass blowers and more will be there at the festival. There will also be live artist demonstrations, hands-on arts activities, live music, festival food vendors and kiddie carnival rides.
This festival benefits a scholarship fund for local artists administered by the Georgia Foundation for Public Spaces. The Sandy Springs Artsapalooza Festival is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 a.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
