Several injured in fireworks mishap in Carroll County

Authorities say that people were launching fireworks from a boat on Legion Lake near the Carroll-Paulding County line when the fireworks exploded.
CARROLL COUNTY, Ga. -
Several people suffered injuries in a fireworks accident on a boat in Carroll County.
Authorities say that people were launching fireworks from a boat on Legion Lake near the Carroll-Paulding County line when the fireworks exploded.
One of the victims was hit
by a couple of the fireworks in the pelvis and inner thigh, but he refused
treatment. The other was rushed to Grady
Hospital for burns to the
arm.
The accident remains under investigation.

The fox that bit two Newton County elementary school students while they played on the playground is still on the loose. Animal control authorities tell FOX 5 someone from Rocky Plains Elementary School reported a fox sighting on campus one day before the boys were attacked.
