Atlanta police have released video of one of two suspects wanted in connection to a series of armed robberies near the Georgia Tech campus.
Police say the two suspects committed four robberies in the area on June 22 and 23. Three of the four victims attend Georgia Tech.
Atlanta Police Lt. Jeff Cantin said that the suspects approached the victims from behind. Cantin said that police don't believe that the men were specifically targeting students.
A surveillance camera captured a suspect using a stolen ATM card at a convenience store on 10th Street in northwest Atlanta, according to police.
Police are also looking for two vehicles – a Toyota Camry and a GMC SUV -- in connection with the crimes.
A heavy police presence was seen on campus as the search intensified for the suspects. Students said they were on guard and taking precautions.
Police said that they are not sure if the suspects are connected to an armed robbery which occurred at a campus dorm over the weekend.
Anyone with information on the robberies is urged to contact police.
