ATLANTA -

The Olympics get underway later this month in London, and one young local boxer is watching and waiting his turn for a medal.  Nick Eisner, 12, is being trained by a former Olympian in hopes of one day becoming one himself.

Nick might be small, but don't let his size fool you.  He can really pack a punch.  He's not only powerful, he's also quick.

"Nick moves, and he's so flexible, and he surprises a lot of people because everybody thinks he's going to be right there, and he won't-- bam, he's gone!" said Romallis "Big Shot" Ellis, Nick's trainer and coach-- who was also an Olympic boxer.  Ellis won a bronze medal in the 1988 Olympic games.

Ellis says at just 12 years old, Nick is on track to become a superstar. He thinks Nick has a shot at a medal one day, and with the Olympic rings shaved in his head, that's all that's on Nick's mind.

"It feels good when you win, and when you lose, it's upsetting, but you just gotta go back in the gym and work even harder so you don't lose again," Nick said.

Nick's vision for the future?  Keep winning.  With his quick footwork and powerful jabs, there's only one opponent that has the potential to knock him out: bad grades.

Nick was recently asked to give a keynote speech at Olympic Day in Henry County.
