There are many popular summer destination spots around north Georgia. If you're not into long lines and out-of-state tourists, then Wes-Man's Restaurant in White, Georgia may be the place for you.
The burgers and fries are just part of the dining experience, and they offer a unique experience for those that come in for a stop. Outside the restaurant, there are hanging bags of water with goldfish inside them. There is a rebuilt water wheel, and license plates everywhere.
A truck also stands outside, painted with messages to individuals. Owner Wesley West says he has painted the truck at least 3,300 times.
Inside the restaurant, animal heads adorn the walls. He says a friend of his did the mounts.
Some of the patrons come great distances to enjoy the good food. Melissa Heeder is a loyal customer.
"Started coming here because they had great sweet tea, and realized they had probably the best hamburger in the Atlanta area," said Heeder.
