One Direction makes first-ever Atlanta stop

Posted: Updated:
GWINNETT COUNTY -

Thousands of tweens flocked to the Gwinnett Arena on Tuesday night to see the latest boy band sensation live.  British group One Direction has taken over the airwaves, and young-- and likely screaming-- Georgia fans could hardly contain their excitement over the band's first stop ever in Atlanta.

The group was assembled by Simon Cowell on England's version of The X-Factor in 2010, and since then, they've rolled out hit after hit.

FOX 5's Denise Dillon headed to Duluth to have a first-hand look at the frenzy outside the venue.
