Police are searching for two men whom they say held up a northeast Atlanta bar. They say robbers hit the North Highland Pub in Inman Park late Monday night, and now the pub's owner is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to their arrests.
A bartender and six customers were inside at the time. They told police the robbers were armed when they entered the bar, and they stole cash, cell phones and a laptop computer from the victims. They also took money from the bar's cash register, and one of the robbers pointed a gun at the terrified customers.
The robbers grabbed the cash and the valuables and left the scene on foot. They were last seen heading southbound on North Highland Avenue.
One of the suspects is described as being around 30 years old with a thin build, and he was wearing a doo rag and a winter-like cap. Police say that suspect was armed with a silver and black handgun. The second suspect is described as being younger and short with a thin build and a goatee.
Police say surveillance cameras inside the bar weren't working when the robbery happened.
Anyone with information on this case is asked to call Atlanta police.
