BUFORD, Ga. -

Divers have suspended the search for a missing 13-year-old boy in Lake Lanier as expected large crowds began to arrive for the weekend. However, law enforcement officials say they will be out in full force to crack down on boating violations.

Georgia Department of Natural Resources rangers are conducting "Operation: Dry Water" over the weekend. The program was planned even before the accident on that claimed the lives of 9-year-old Jake Griffin and Griffin Prince, whose body is still missing on the lake.

Paul Bennett, 44, is charged with boating under influence after allegedly striking the pontoon boat the Prince family was on Monday night.

In addition to checking for boaters under the influence, rangers are also checking for registration, life jackets and proper equipment.

"We want everybody to have fun, but at the same time, we want everybody to stress: follow the boating laws," said  DNR Ranger 1st Class Mark Stephens.

The legal limit for drinking and driving a boat is .10 as compared to .08 for driving a car.

The search for Griffin Prince's body will resume on Monday morning.

A memorial fund has been set up for Jake and Griffin Prince at Wells Fargo Bank. Donations are being accepted at any Wells Fargo location under the account number 7581668121.
