LITHONIA, Ga. -

Some DeKalb County homeowners are fuming after getting hit with citations. Code enforcement officers blanketed the entire neighborhood with notices to paint and patch up home or face a large fine.

DeKalb County Commissioner Lee May agreed to meet with many of the neighbors after getting so many complaints. The biggest complaint was the threat of a $1,000 fine if they failed to comply. They told him that the action was too aggressive.
