Cobb police seek two men after deadly shooting

AUSTELL, GA. -

Investigators released surveillance video of two men they believe are responsible for the death of 20-year-old Austell man late Friday.  Gunfire erupted outside the West Chase apartment complex in Austell.

Police say Joseph Owens was visiting a friend at the complex when he was shot.  After he was shot, Owens ran for help and made it about 200 yards to a gas station before he collapsed on the pavement.  He later died at the hospital.

Investigators are now working on a motive and trying to track down the suspected killers.  They say of the men is between 18 and 24 years old, roughly 5'9"- 5'11" tall and has ear-length dreadlocks.   The second man is between 18 and 20 years old with a thin build, short hair with twists and a pierced eyebrow. Both men are considered armed.

Owens' family tells FOX 5 News that he attended the Art Institute of Atlanta, and he dreamed of being a music producer.  He also has a 1-year-old child.  They are pleading for anyone with information to come forward.
