"I have the most awesome dad! He has taught me to be independent but knowing that I can ALWAYS rely on him should I need him! He not only is the best daddy to me he also is a dad/granddad to my children not to mention all of the neighborhood children as my brothers and I were growing up! Thank you Daddy for all you do (for everyone)!!! I love you"

"My father did any and everything he could to make his kids happy. He made sure we always had what we needed and still gave us what we wanted. He was an intelligent man, always helping us with homework. He thought he was a comedian, but we loved him so we always laughed at his jokes. He cooked great breakfasts and spoiled us with junk food as kids. He always made it a point to tell us how much he loved us. He passed away May 20th of this year. He was my hero. He taught me so many life lessons; the most important one being that "no one has your back like family." If he was still here, I would tell him that I love him."
