"Hi. My name is Kristen Bonds. I am 30 years old and wanted to share how awesome my dad is. My dad's name is Roger Croy. He is 49 years old and will be turning the big 50 in October! I was raised by my daddy, and from the time I was born, that man has been my rock, my hero, and most of all, an awesome role model. My dad works at Lord and Stephens funeral home in Athens, Ga which is where me and my husband reside as well. I remember my daddy letting me ride the tractor with him when I was a kid. He always made me feel so special. My daddy goes out of his way to help others and would take the shirt off his back for you! Being an adult now and one day having my own family, I will definitely be taking the same steps as my father did raising me. My daddy is also the funniest man I know and with that being said, I will tell you my nickname. He calls me "Hammer". I have no idea why. He just makes up these nicknames and sayings and they just stick. I love my daddy so much, and I want him to know that I am so proud of him, and in my eyes, he is the best daddy in the whole world! Thank you daddy for guiding me throughout my life and just for simply loving me! Love you tons old man!"

Powder Springs resident Mike Hill is a contestant on FOX's MasterChef and he stopped by Good Day on Monday to give us a taste of his culinary talent. His wife, Margarita, thinks he is amazing man both in and out of the kitchen.
"He is not only one of the best home cooks of America, but the best dad of the world! He does anything and everything for our kids! You can see him planting the garden with the two of them. He changes dirty diapers, and gets up with them on Sundays, so I can sleep a little longer. He is an awesome father. I pray every day we keep him forever!"

"This is about my husband and their dad, Tom. He is an awesome man and father. We have two girls and he has made is his mission to teach our girl how a man is to treat them. He is so involved with them and other kids. He cares about the next generation. Any chance he can get he tell the kids about life. He wants to start a program on teaching young guys how to be strong men and teach them a trade. He always puts us first. When I see him with our girls, it makes my heart smile and if it's true girls pick men like their father, I have nothing to worry about. We love you! Happy Father's Day."
