Our featured event today will take place about 30 miles northwest of Atlanta in Cherokee County.
Our focus is on the city of Woodstock and this weekend's free outdoor food and music festival.
The 7th Annual Wing and Rock Fest brings together some of the best area wing restaurants and classic rock. What a perfect combination!
Kids can definitely work up an appetite in the kidzone with the usual jumpies and slides.
And if you have a reputation for taking on some wings, you might want to sign up for the wing eating contest.
Otherwise, wings will be for sale all day both days and the live music will be non-stop!
The 7th Annual Wing and Rock Fest is Saturday from noon to 10 pm and Sunday from noon to 7pm in Woodstock City Park. And while you're there you might want to check out Olde Towne Woodstock and the visitor's center located in Dean's Store which has been open since 1906.
