BUFORD, Ga -

Police in Gwinnett County are asking the public's help in located a missing Buford woman who went missing Friday afternoon.

A statewide Mattie's Call has been activated for Christine Joyce Park, 21, of Buford. Police say she left home without notifying her parents. Parks, who has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old child, was last seen Friday morning.

She is described as having shoulder length hair and is about 5 foot, 2 inches tall, weighing about 112 pounds. She was last seen wearing navy blue pants and a red shirt, but her parents believe she may have changed into a white knee length skirt with navy blue dots or a zigzag pattern, and black socks with blue stripes. She may be carrying a blue Timberland backpack.

Investigators do not believe foul play is involved in the disappearance.

They are asking anyone who sees Christine to call 911.
