Fulton County police tell FOX 5 two people were shot at the Hickory Park Apartments on Saturday afternoon, and activity at the scene caused traffic delays in the area.
Det. Melissa Parker said the main scene is at the apartment complex, which is located at 4900 Delano Road. There was also a second scene at South Fulton Parkway and Mason Road, but it was not immediately clear what happened there.
Det. Parker said two people were shot. Their conditions were not immediately available, and there's no word yet on what led to the shooting.
As a result of the investigation, South Fulton Parkway was closed for a short time in the westbound direction between Mason Road and Majestic Road. The roadway has since reopened.
