American Cancer Society Road to Recovery: Volunteer Driver Program - Did you know that some Atlanta cancer patients need transportation their to radiation and chemotherapy appointments? Give joy and a smile to someone undergoing cancer treatment by driving patients to their appointments. You can help provide this life-saving service by becoming a volunteer driver with the American Cancer Society's Road to Recovery program. Attention all Would-Be Band Members! - The Georgia State Defense Force Band is recruiting accomplished musicians, ages 17-65, with three or more years of performing experience at the high school band level or higher. Military band service is not required. The band performs at concerts, parades and ceremonies for the public and for Georgia State Defense force (GSDF) units. The GSDF is Georgia's unarmed, volunteer force that performs civil defense and emergency duties such as disaster relief or search and rescue.
