Buckhead Man Charged with Murder in Dunwoody Daycare Shooting - Atlanta News, Weather, Traffic, and Sports | FOX 5

Police in Dunwoody announced Tuesday night that they’ve made an arrest in the shooting death of a man outside a daycare center in November. Investigators have charged Hemy Zvi Neuman, 48, with the murder of Rusty Sneiderman.

Sneiderman, 36, was shot multiple times in the parking lot of Dunwoody Prep Preschool, which is located on Chamblee Dunwoody Road. His young son attends the preschool, and he had just dropped the 2-year-old boy off when the shooting happened.

Investigators say Neuman, a resident of Buckhead, is charged with felony murder and he is currently being held without bond at the DeKalb County Jail. Neuman could have his first court appearance Wednesday.

Few details were released about the arrest on Tuesday evening, but investigators did say during a briefing that they believe they have the man behind the crime in custody. Police said they will share more information as the case develops, and it’s still an active investigation.

Police declined to talk about a motive in the case.

Prior to the arrest, investigators said they definitely believed Sneiderman was targeted in the shooting. The gunman was said to have pulled up next to Sneiderman’s car, and shot into his car without any exchange taking place between the two men.

Sneiderman was a married father of two and a Harvard MBA graduate.
