Clear, sunny skies, cool temperatures and west to northwesterly winds of 10 to 15 mph prevailed across north and central Georgia this afternoon.
At 4 p.m.,temperatures ranged from 52 degrees at Blairsville to 56 at Rome and Atlanta and 61 at Griffin and Eatonton. With dry air and light winds over the area tonight, temperatures will fall into the low and mid 30s north to 35-40 from Atlanta to Macon.
Highs Saturday will be in the 55-60 degree range north and 60-65 between Atlanta and Macon.
