Warner Robbins LL Team to be Honored

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. (AP) - The Little League champion Warner Robins softball team will be honored at a celebration in their hometown.
The Warner Robins girls won the title on Wednesday, beating a team from Burbank, Calif. 8-6 in Portland, Ore. in the final game. Warner Robins also won the title last year.
The team will be honored Friday evening at the Warner Robins American Little League fields. The players are an all-star team from that league.
Warner Robins pitcher Hayley Tierce struck out Burbank’s Davina Del Castillo, representing the possible tying run, to end the game Wednesday night.
