ATLANTA - A baseball legend reunited with two of his legendary fans Friday. Hank Aaron had a face-to-face meeting with the two young men who famously joined him in his run around the bases when Hammering Hank hit his 715th home run back in 1974.
Britt Gaston and Cliff Courtenay were just 17-years-old when they jumped from the stands at Atlanta's Fulton County Stadium and trotted along side Aaron when he broke the homerun record.
The hall of famer said it's a day he will never forget.
Gaston and Courtenay were arrested following that stunt, but the charges were dropped the next morning.
Back then, Aaron gave them autographed baseballs and Friday, they returned the gesture, giving the legend a baseball that they had signed.
