PALOS VERDES, Calif. - For many people, facing their high school classmates after years in the 'real world' can be a stressful experience at best, but a California woman took a different approach: She hired a stripper and sent her to attend her 10-year reunion in her place.

Oh, and she filmed it.

On her MySpace page , 31-year-old Andrea Wachner explains her plan.

"Here's the long and short of it," she writes. "I sent a stripper, as me, to my high school reunion, rigged it so I could feed 'Andrea' info, and filmed the whole thing."

Wachner posted a two-minute trailer of the documentary on her MySpace page , along with several clips on YouTube. You can watch one of those clips here on our website.

She says she couldn't bear the thought of attending the Palos Verdes Peninsula High School reunion, but she wanted to make an impression anyway.

"What would be the worst, best thing that I could do?" she says in the video. "So I bought a ticket, got a hotel room directly above the ballroom and hired a crew."

A film crew, that is. And, of course, a stripper -- an exotic dancer named Cricket.

Wachner goes on to say that the film crew ran cable to the ballroom of the hotel where the reunion would be held – and no one really noticed — so that she could watch the action from her room. She would then feed 'Cricket' information about her classmates through an earpiece to make the act believable.

So, as you'll see in the clip, Cricket showed up to the reunion posing as Wachner and wearing a tight black dress with fishnets. She's even heard on tape asking, "Am I the only stripper in the class?"

"I guess you've always kinda been a little more alternative," one classmate told Cricket.

Cricket told 'her' classmates she had reconstructive surgery following a car accident and she had suffered from amnesia. In reality, Wachner had been in a crash after high school, and some of her classmates — having not seen her since graduation — remembered hearing about it.

The highlight of the six-minute clip comes when Cricket pulls a chair into the middle of the dance floor and starts to strip as Lisa Loeb's 'Stay' plays in the background. Some of Wachner's classmates screamed and cheered her on. But as you'll see, right in the middle of her routine, her earpiece falls out onto the floor. Will it blow her cover?

We'll have to wait for to find out. Wachner writes on MySpace that she hopes to have the full documentary, which is called 'I remember Andrea', completed by September — though she's still waiting for her big break and hasn't sold the story yet.
