ATLANTA - There was a major setback Tuesday for a death row inmate given a rare chance by the U.S. Supreme Court to clear his name.

A federal judge ruled Tuesday that Troy Davis failed to prove his innocence.

The ruling allows the state to move forward with his execution, for the 1989 murder of an off-duty Savannah police officer.

Davis' execution has been delayed three times over concerns that he wasn't the real killer. Davis can still appeal his case.

Reverend Raphael Warnock of Ebenezer Baptist Church, a spiritual advisor to Davis and his family, stopped by the FOX 5 studios to discuss the case.
