On the day after Thanksgiving, Atlanta mayoral candidate Kasim Reed spent the day prospecting for votes in the city's barber shops and beauty salons. The former state senator is hoping to move to the front after reaching second place in the November general election.
First-place finisher Mary Norwood spent the day with supporters at the corner of 10th Street and Piedmont Avenue, in the city's sixth council district where voter turnout has historically been strong and will likely remain strong with a runoff for the district's council seat.
