LOCUST GROVE, Ga. - A father serving overseas for months come home for a very special occasion. The Henry County man managed to pull off a surprise visit to his daughter’s graduation. U.S. Army Private First Class Clayton Carson deployed to Afghanistan in October. It was that same week he put in the paperwork to ensure he could make it back home to see his daughter, Brittany on her big day. Army Command let Private Carson leave a few days earlier than scheduled which helped him not miss the milestone. He will get to spend his leave with his family before heading back to duty.
