Help for Homeowners Project Begins

ATLANTA - There is help for struggling homeowners in Atlanta.

The "Help for Homeowners" project is being held from 1 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday afternoon and 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis located at 265 Peachtree Center Avenue.

Lenders will be on hand to help negotiate lower payments.

If you plan to attend, you need to bring:

• Your monthly mortgage statement any information about other mortgages on the home.
• Your two most recent pay stubs and any other documentation of income.
• Your two most recent bank statements
• Account balances and monthly payments for credit cards and other debts
• And estimates of other monthly expenses such as utilities, insurance and medical bills.
