DECATUR, Ga. - Some Decatur residents say they oppose a Wal-Mart store in their neighborhood.
The group “Good Growth Dekalb” says a proposed Wal-Mart store at the corner of Scott Boulevard and North Decatur Road is a bad idea.
They say the area is too congested and a big brand like Wal-Mart will kill local business and create a traffic nightmare.
The developer who wants to build the Wal-Mart store says the move will bring several hundred jobs to the area.
