NORCROSS, Ga. - Gwinnett County firefighters battled a two-alarm fire at an office complex in Norcross Friday.

The building is an administrative office for a car refinishing company called Akzo Nobel.

Fire officials say the received the call around 3 a.m. The fire was located across the street from Fire Station Number 4. When firefighters went out into the apparatus bay at the fire station, they could immediately see the orange glow from the fire across the street.

Officials say the building suffered heavy damage and the building partially collapsed. No one was inside the building and there were no injuries.

Spalding Drive has been shut down.

The cause of the fire is not known. Investigators are questioning employees and a cleaning crew thought to be the last people in the building before the blaze.
