ATLANTA (MyFOX ATLANTA) - Many people might think to be on the sex offender registry in Georgia, that person actually committed a sex crime. But that's not the case.
The situation is another example of unintended consequences from toughing up Georgia's sex offender laws.
It's one thing to make Georgia's sex offender law one of the strictest in the country, but it's quite another to make authorities keep an eye on people like David Monroe.
