Fight Leads to Marietta Shooting Death

MARIETTA, Ga. (MYFOX ATLANTA) - A Marietta neighborhood was on edge Tuesday night after a man was shot to death.

Cobb County police said they were still searching for the person who pulled the trigger.

Investigators said two men were fighting in the backyard of a home on Long Drive in Marietta around 5:00 p.m. Tuesday. Police said one of the men pulled out a gun and shot the other to death.

According to the police, the shooter escaped in a blue Ford Explorer.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact Cobb County police.
