ATLANTA (MyFOX ATLANTA) - A victim of a hit-and-run at the end of January made an emotional plea for the public's help in finding the driver Monday night.
Lashonia Jones said she was helping her brother move Jan. 31, when she was struck around 9:30 p.m. on Ponce de Leon Avenue in midtown Atlanta.
Jones said she didn't remember being hit, but she remembered waking up in the street with her daughter screaming.
Jones suffered a shattered hip in the accident and is having to learn to walk again.
Jones' daughter said the driver must have known they hit someone because they ran a red light after the accident.
Anyone with information on the accident is asked to contact the Atlanta Police Department.
