ATLANTA (MyFOX ATLANTA) - Tuesday has been a dreary and cold day in north Georgia  and there is some concern that winter weather could be headed this way.

The rain has been responsible for several wrecks on Atlanta's wet roads.

One person was injured when a car overturned on Interstate 285 between Glenwood and Covington Highway. Crews had to sand down an oil spill before re-opening all lanes.

Another crash happened Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 285, near North Decatur Road.

In Sandy Springs, a car went down the embankment on Georgia 400. The accident happened in the northbound lanes between Interstate 285 and Abernathy Road.

The weather also caused delays at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. The FAA reported delays of 15 minutes or less for flights into and out of Atlanta.
