ATLANTA - The fate of a man accused of killing Spelman student Jasmine Lynn is now in the hands of a jury.

Devonni Benton -- 21-years-old -- is accused of killing the Spelman student in September.

Prosecutors claim Benton was involved in a fight at the Clark Atlanta campus when he pulled a gun out of this backpack and started firing -- killing Lynn who was trying to play the role of peacemaker.

Benton faces multiple charges, including murder, in the death of 19-year-old Jasmine Lynn.
