DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. (MyFOX ATLANTA) - A DeKalb County teacher was arrested early Thursday morning for child molestation. Police said they caught 29-year-old Charles McClendon with a former student.
Jonesboro police said they noticed a suspicious vehicle parked at the El Tarzcos Mexican restaurant on Jonesboro Road. Officers said they shined a light into the car and saw two people in the back seat. Police said one person got out of the car and appeared to be pulling his pants on.
Officers said the 15-year-old victim was also in the back seat.
McClendon was arrested and charged with child molestation and enticing a child for indecent purposes.
McClendon teaches at Stone Mountain Middle School.
