The man accused of killing a worker who came to repossess his vehicle had his first court appearance waived Wednesday.
Justin Moore -- 29-years-old -- was arrested Tuesday.
Moore is accused of shooting two men -- killing one of them as the victims tried to repose his car.
On the run for almost a week, Moore was spotted in a car Tuesday morning by the case's lead detective who was also working with the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force.
Police said Moore jumped out of the moving car as it drove down Flat Shoals Parkway in Dekalb County.
A chase ensued and Moore was captured near a creek bed.
Detectives questioned Moore for eight hours.
Police said he was co-operative -- even helping them locate the murder weapon, which was found in Clayton County near where his 2004 ford mustang was located a day after the crime took place.
Kenneth Merrith was also taken to jail. Police describe him as Moore's childhood friend and said Merrith was behind the wheel when the murder suspect was arrested.
Police said last Thursday Moore shot and killed 27-year-old Brandon Thomas and critically injured 36-year-old Willie Thaxton who were reposing Moore's Mustang from the suspect's south Fulton County home.
Moore is being held in the Fulton County Jail and faces murder and aggravated assault charges.
Investigators said at least three other people could face charges for helping Moore after the shooting.
