ATLANTA (MyFOX ATLANTA) - Fire rescue teams from three metro counties were on the lookout Tuesday night for a stranded kayaker.
Authorities said the kayaker got stuck, possibly on some rocks, on the Chattahoochee River. The kayaker called 911 for help on his cell phone, and told rescuers he was somewhere between the Buford Dam and Medlock Bridge.
The Fulton, Gwinnett and Forsyth County fire rescue departments all responded to look for the kayaker.
There was no indication that the kayaker was injured.
Every day, in more than a dozen communities across Georgia, people are protected…
