Police confirmed Friday, Oct. 2, 2009 that "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kandi Burress' ex-fiance, A.J. Jewell was killed at an Atlanta night club. Police said Jewell died after a fight at the Body Tap club on Marietta Boulevard.

The former fiance of a cast member from "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" died during a fight outside an Atlanta strip club. Officials say Fredrick Richardson has been charged with voluntary manslaughter in the death of Ashley "A.J." Jewell.
Jewell died from head injuries Friday night in the parking lot of the Body Tap Club. Jewell was engaged to "Housewives" cast member Kandi Burruss. They broke off their engagement last August. Jewell appeared in several episodes of the show. He leaves behind six children.
