Cobb County police were search for the thieves who broke into a Kennesaw jewelry store early Wednesday morning.
Police said the Topstyle Diamonds jewelry store on Barrett Parkway was broken into some time between 6:00 p.m. Tuesday night and 7:55 a.m. Wednesday.
Investigators said a burglary crew cut an access hole in the roof and after they gained entry into the store, they shut off both the alarm and video security systems.
Police said approximately $500,000 in merchandise was stolen in the heist.
