Some Fulton County deputies are worried about what they call a serious problem with their radio system.
The concern: a repeat of the chaos that followed the 2005 courthouse shootings when officers from different departments couldn't communicate.
Fulton deputies and Atlanta police can still not talk to each other in emergencies.
The Atlanta Police Department's recent upgrade to digital radios has only made the situation worse.
At next Wednesday's Fulton County commission meeting, commissioners will be presented with options to fix the current problems and upgrade the communications system.
