Police Investigate Violent Home Invasion

HAPEVILLE, Ga. (MyFOX Atlanta) - Atlanta police are searching for three people wanted in a violent home invasion in Hapeville, Ga. Police said the trio burst into the Sims Street home overnight and started shooting.

Investigators said, during the invasion one of the gunman pistol-whipped a victim, and a bullet went through a bedroom door and another lodge in the kitchen wall.

Police said they are searching for possibly four Hispanic males; witnesses said one was dressed like a cowboy. Investigators said the culprits got away in a black Ford Expedition.
