Peachtree Road Race Traffic Advisory

ATLANTA - The annual Peachtree Road Race will take place on Saturday, July 4, beginning at 6:00 a.m. The event will affect traffic and bring thousands of spectators and participants, affecting the following streets:

• Peachtree Rd. /St. from Peachtree-Dunwoody Rd. to Peachtree Pl.
• Lenox Rd. from E. Paces Ferry Rd. to Piedmont Avenue.
• Piedmont Avenue from E. Paces to Lenox.
• 14th St. from W. Peachtree St. to Juniper St.
• 10th St. from W. Peachtree St. to Piedmont Avenue.

In preparation for the Peachtree Rd. Race, the following street will be closed beginning July 2, at 10:00 p.m. and remain closed through July 4 at 3:00 p.m.

• 10th St. from Charles Allen Dr. to Monroe Dr.

It is strongly recommended that MARTA be utilized. The Atlanta Police will strictly enforce all traffic and parking laws by ticketing and impounding illegally parked vehicles.
