ATLANTA (AP) - Temperatures dipped into the low 30s across much of north Georgia Monday morning, and frost advisories were issued.
The official 6 a.m. temperature in Atlanta was 38 degrees, but suburbs recorded lower readings: 35 in Marietta, 32 in Peachtree City and 34 in Chamblee.
The temperature fell below 30 in Blairsville in the north Georgia mountains. Even in south Georgia, it was in the 40s.
Another freeze warning was issued for early Tuesday. Temperatures were expected to rise into the 60s Monday afternoon and the 70s on Tuesday.
